How will our relationship work?

Because Lily Maids does not require a contract, we want to earn your trust by providing our value with every clean. To that end, we appreciate honest and open communication to further strengthen our partnership and will regularly solicit your feedback to make sure the best service is being provided to you.

Do I have to be home when Lily Maids arrives?

No. In fact, most of our clients are not home during the cleaning, they provide us a copy of the key, or any codes to enter the house – an indication of the trust we have earned.

What time will Lily Maids be at my home?

Our normal business hours are 8:30 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday. We do our best to accommodate your scheduling needs and provide an arrival window time.

Who will be cleaning my home?

Lily Maids sends a team of 1, 2 or 3 professional cleaners, trained, insured and uniformed. Once we assign a team to clean your home, they will always be your team. If for any reason we can’t send the same cleaning crew, we will inform you.

How do I know I can trust Lily Maids?

Lily Maids only hires professionals who have passed a background check and are legal to work in the United States. All of our employees are trained and insured. We value our company’s reputation and stand by our work. If you are not completely satisfied, simply contact us within 24 hours and we will reschedule a re-clean of the area that did not meet your expectations.

What should I do before a home cleaning?

In order to be as efficient as possible, we ask that you help by picking up items such as clothing, toys, etc., before your team arrives. This allows them to focus their time on cleaning and providing you with quality service and satisfaction.

How competitive are Lily Maids prices?

Our prices are very competitive, although we might not be the lowest in every scenario. Lily Maids is licensed, insured and provides worker’s compensation to all employees. So you can rest easy knowing your home is in good hands.

Can I provide special instructions for my team?

Absolutely! Communication is one of our core values. We understand that every client is different and we want to know exactly how you want your home to be cleaned so we can deliver the quality of work you expect from us. Feel free to communicate any special instructions before we arrive.

What if I need to reschedule my cleaning?

Lily Maids is very flexible. If you need to reschedule, we only ask that you give us at least 48h notice.

‍For last minute cancellations (those within 24h of your next scheduled visit), our policy is to charge 30% of the full price of your cleaning. Inform the office with appropriate time so we can reorganize the route for your cleaning crew that day.

How do I pay for the service?

Lily Maids happily accepts Venmo, Zelle, or check mailed to the office. You will receive an invoice through your email the following day of your cleaning with all the information and instructions on how to proceed with the payment. We also offer gift certificates in any denomination, perfect for a friend or family member.

Is the team allowed to receive tips?

Absolutely and they are greatly appreciated. It can be any amount you deem appropriate. Most of our clients tip the team at the end of each cleaning, some clients even like to give a larger tip at the end of the year.

What if something is damaged during the cleaning?

Accidents can happen. You can rest assured your team will exercise great care with your belongings to deter damages. However if something happens we will notify you immediately, and we will make every attempt to repair or replace the item, and if appropriate, insurance claims will be filed.

What should I do with my pets during the cleaning?

Consider leaving your pets in the guest room or a lesser-used room in your home that can go without a cleaning every time. Another option is to secure your pets in their kennel if they use one. If the weather is right, keep your pets outside in a safe, shady, fenced-in spot while your cleaners are working inside.

Do I need to provide cleaning supplies or equipment?

Lily Maids comes to your home fully equipped with top-quality equipment and commercial vacuum cleaners, but because each client is different and may have different preferences for products, we ask our customers to provide the cleaning supplies they feel more comfortable using in their homes. Ask us for a list of “suggested cleaning products”.

Are certain things you don't do in a regular cleaning?

There are several things that are not included in the regular cleaning:

Putting away dishes from dishwasher
Washing more than 3 dishes
Clean inside china cabinet
Clean walls
Organizing
Cleaning up animal waste
Cleaning cat litter box
Cleaning insects/rodents
Moving or lifting anything over 25 lbs
Stepping higher than 2 steps on a ladder (except for deep cleanings)
Cleaning high to reach areas & windows (except for deep cleanings)
Washing exterior windows (upon request)
Folding clothes / Laundry (upon request)
Cleaning anything outside the home (upon request)

What If I want to add additional services in my cleaning?

Additional services add time to the cleaning, but it can be done. We only ask that you inform the office ahead of time, so we can calculate a better estimated time of arrival for the next customers on the route of your cleaning crew for that day.

What services can I add upon request?

Lily Maids offers the following services upon request:

Laundry services (wash, dry, iron, fold, and put them away for you)
Washing interior and exterior windows and glass doors
Deep clean inside refrigerator, clean oven, baseboards, air vents, and doors.
Cleaning anything outside the home, such as patio and driveway
